Anshuman Das Gupta did his BFA (1990) and MA (1992) in Art History from Santiniketan, and M.S.U., Baroda, respectively. He joined Santiniketan in 1997 as a lecturer of Art History. He has contributed extensively to publications like Marg and LKC. He is currently engaged in curating art shows and in organizing the Khoj International Artists Workshop in Kolkata.

Avani Rao Gandra did her PhD in Fine Arts from Osmania University, Hyderabad - her thesis looked at painting practices in Andhra Pradesh. She writes art criticism for the Indian Express and is currently writing a book on the ways in which artists from Andhra Pradesh have engaged with the Telangana issue. As a practising artist, she has had one solo show, and has participated in several group shows. She is also a curator.
Deeksha Nath is an art historian and an independent curator. She has studied at the M.S.U., Baroda, and at the City University, London, and has worked at the Tate Gallery, London, and at the NGMA, New Delhi. Nath edits an online journal, www.craftrevivaltrust.org, and is currently working on a book on hand-block printing practices from Bagh, Madhya Pradesh. She has documented the Ramlila for a proposal that recently led to the performance-form getting recognition from the UNESCO as an "intangible heritage of humanity".
Madhavi Gore graduated with a BA in History from St. Xavier's College, Bombay. She then went on to explore her interests in art history and fine art at the M. S. U., Baroda, and later at the Maryland Institute, College of Art, Baltimore, USA. In 2004, she completed her MA in Comparative Culture Studies from the Ohio State University, Ohio, where her research interests included theatre, citizenship, race, and Gandhian social reform as seen through the lens of visual culture studies and performance studies. She is currently based in Bombay, and works with ART India as a text editor.
Nivedita Magar did her BA in English Literature from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, and her MA in English Literature and Aesthetics from the University of Mumbai. In 1997, she was one of the eight young people chosen to participate in Picture Mumbai-Landmarks of a New Generation, a photography initiative sponsored by the Getty Conservation Institute, LA, USA. She went on to pursue her interest in film and photography by working on projects like Mutations, a documentary film that examined the evolving identities and histories of Bombay city by the French production company, Les Filmes D'Ici. As a freelance photographer, she has worked on several interiors and architecture-related projects. She currently works with ART India as a senior text editor.
